The Power Driven 12v Race Conical Valve Spring Set has 12 high-performance drop-in valve springs for the 12v Cummins cylinder head. These ultra-lightweight valve spring assemblies are designed for maximum valve control at high rpm. They feature 175 lbs. of seat pressure and room for just over 0.700" of valve lift—perfect for a race truck engine! These performance springs will accommodate the vast majority of the largest lift camshafts on the market while still maintaining reasonable open pressure for cam lobe and lifter/tappet life. As with any aftermarket valve spring upgrade with over stock pressure, it's recommended that a higher-quality engine oil is used to protect the cam and tappets. Kit contains: 12 race conical valve springs, 12 steel retainers (or tool steel if that option is selected), 24 lock halves (enough for 12 valves) Normal installed height with supplied locks/retainers is 1.870", which results in the specified 175-lb. seat pressure rating.
