Conical Valve Spring Set contains: • Quantity x 12 conical valve springs • Quantity x 12 chromoly steel retainers • Quantity x 24 lock halves (enough for 12 valves) Set of 12 high-performance drop-in valve springs for the 12v Cummins cylinder head. These lightweight valve spring assemblies are designed for maximum valve control up to 5,000 rpm, perfect for a hot street Cummins diesel. The springs feature 175 lbs. of seat pressure and 375 lbs. of open pressure. These street performance valve springs will accommodate the vast majority of performance street camshafts on the market while still maintaining reasonable open pressure for cam lobe and lifter/tappet life. As with any aftermarket valve spring upgrade with higher-than-stock pressure, it's recommended that a higher-quality engine oil is used to protect the cam and tappets. These street conical springs, retainers, and locks are designed to drop in at a 1.950" installed height and 175 lbs. of seat pressure.
